Tom passes his DPhil confirmation

We congratulate Tom Grimes for passing his DPhil confirmation! A few days later, he also delivered a fascinating talk at the 2025 CMD Symposium on the development of NLRP3 inflammasome inhibitors (pictured left).

Teddy hall relays title retained

Mar 2025

The CMD Drug Runners A crushed the competition at the 2025 Teddy Hall Relays averaging 3:44 min/km over the 28 km, winning the departmental category by over 20 minutes, and retaining the title from 2024. This victory cements our status as the fastest research group in Oxford.

Adeus Saleta

A sad day as we bid farewell to a true legend of the Brennan Group. Saleta returns back to her native Galicia, and we wish her all the best!

A true legend of the Brennan Group heads on to pastures new. A sad day as we wave arriverderci to Gian-Filippo as he begins a new job at Evotec. The group wouldn’t be where it was without him, and he’ll be sorely missed.
